MTN FLO: Creating Outdoor Lifestyle Content That Feels at Home Outside
MTN FLO was a natural fit for the kind of outdoor lifestyle content we love to create.
The brand’s idea is simple: Wear Your Adventure.
For us, that meant building the visuals around more than the clothing itself. The environment, movement, people, and details all needed to feel like they belonged together.
The result was content that placed MTN FLO where the brand made the most sense: outside.
Putting the Product in Its Natural Environment
Outdoor apparel is easier to understand when you can see how it belongs in the world around it.
Instead of separating the product from the experience, we photographed and filmed MTN FLO in rugged outdoor environments where the clothing became part of the scene.
Rocky terrain.
Changing light.
Quiet moments between movement.
Details of the apparel against the landscape.
Those elements helped communicate the brand without needing to explain everything directly.
For outdoor brands, the environment can do a lot of the storytelling.
Lifestyle Content Beyond the Product Shot
A traditional product image can show someone what a piece of clothing looks like.
Lifestyle content can show them what it feels like to be part of the brand.
For the MTN FLO project, our focus moved between active lifestyle imagery, portraits, environmental shots, and smaller details.
That variety gave the content more range while keeping one consistent visual world.
Some frames focused on the apparel.
Others focused on the people wearing it.
And some simply gave the landscape room to establish the sense of adventure behind the brand.
Together, those moments created something broader than a collection of product shots.
They created context.
Building a Visual Identity Around Adventure
When a brand is closely tied to a lifestyle, its content needs to reflect that identity consistently.
For MTN FLO, the outdoors was not just a backdrop.
It was part of the visual language.
The textures of the rocks, cooler tones, natural movement, and styling all helped create imagery that felt aligned with the brand’s Wear Your Adventure message.
That is one of the things we look for when approaching outdoor brand production.
The strongest location is not necessarily the most dramatic one.
It is the location that makes the product and the brand feel like they belong there.
Outdoor Lifestyle Video Production in Utah
Utah gives outdoor brands access to an incredible range of environments for lifestyle photography and video production.
But a strong location is only the starting point.
The production still needs to connect the environment to the product, create enough visual variety for different platforms, and keep the brand recognizable throughout the shoot.
For MTN FLO, we built the content around that balance.
The landscape created scale.
The talent brought personality.
The apparel remained part of the experience.
And the smaller details helped bring everything together.
Creating Content Brands Can Keep Using
Outdoor lifestyle shoots can create far more than a single hero image or video.
A well-planned production can produce a mix of photography and motion content for social media, websites, campaigns, product launches, and ongoing brand storytelling.
That versatility is especially valuable for outdoor and lifestyle brands that need to show up consistently while maintaining one recognizable visual identity.
For MTN FLO, a simple idea guided the entire shoot:
Wear your adventure.
Our job was to create a visual world around it.
